About Our Client:Top Leader of Whole Food Distributors.The client's business was founded in Chicago in 1980 with a small warehouse and a vision to provide authentic food items to the masses. Since 1980, it has grown to be one of the largest Korean and Pan-Asian food wholesalers and distributors in the Midwest.
Job Summary:MON ~ FRI, 8:00 AM ~ 5:30 PM
Job Description:- Grocery Purchasing Associate responsibilities include:
Maintain strong working relationships with vendors.Coordinate the purchase orders for assigned accounts/categories.Analyze inventory and forecast purchasing needs to ensure products are in stock.Review and recommend new products and trends.Identify new product opportunities.
Qualifications:SCM/Purchasing experience preferred but not required.Bilingual in Korean and English.Possess strong written and oral communication skills.Full working knowledge of MS Office.Must have excellent planning and organizational skills.Strong negotiating skills.Must be willing to travel (business travel less than 20%).
