Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Civil Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for handling complex commercial litigation and business litigation cases. You will be expected to provide legal advice and representation to clients in various legal disputes, including contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, and employment disputes. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal industry.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in court proceedings and mediationsConduct legal research and analysis on various legal issuesDraft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefsManage and prioritize a large caseloadCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, and judgesAttend depositions, hearings, and trialsNegotiate settlements on behalf of clientsProvide legal advice and guidance to clientsMaintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Civil Litigation AttorneyStrong knowledge of complex commercial litigation and business litigationAbility to handle a large caseload and prioritize tasks effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamJuris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the state bar where the position is located
