We are seeking a strong
Senior Accountant - Construction
which will be located in the Irvine area. This Construction Accountant position will handle all the accounting associated with the projects, GL Accounting, project accounting, project billing, percentage of completion, and work closely with the project managers to make sure the project stays on budget. Position is Onsite, great work location and environment with opportunity for advancement.Responsibilities:
Construction Accountant will be responsible for Month-end activities such as miscellaneous journals, loan draws, project job costing, project billing, percentage of completion, AP coding/processing, project budget analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and supporting project managers with miscellaneous tasks and analysis.Prepare project financial packages including costs, variances, margin, and other KPI's.Required to have strong excel skills.For this person to be successful, they would need to have a minimum of 5+ years of related experience.The ideal Construction Senior Accountant would have a 4-year bachelor's degree.Fast-paced environment looking for someone that enjoys challenge, being a team player but also able to work autonomously, and a stable environment.If you meet these requirements, please apply and/or contact Thomas Trout.
