SummaryBaystate is looking for an analytical and well-organized product leader to build and lead Product Management for a range of remote care and engagement capabilities and services in development. This includes a contribution to the maturation of the Product Management function at Baystate Health.Based on the analysis of Baystate's strategy, objectives, challenges & opportunities, the Product Manager will take responsibility for specific current or planned technology-enabled services assigned and facilitate development, consensus-building governance approval, and execution of multi-year product roadmaps, including product KPI definition. This includes a role as one of the main influencers for all aspects (e.g., strategy, feature roll-out, UI/UX design, governance, etc.) relating to both patient and employee interaction with Baystate patient engagement, remote patient monitoring, and other virtual care services.Experience needs to include maintaining relationships with team and leadership, communicating technology opportunities and constraints to non-technical stakeholders, and, most importantly, relating to, educating, and enabling the frontline clinical and operational workforce. The Product Manager will also engage with, and leverage project and operational processes defined by the Informatics and Technology Division and manage vendor relationships, including capabilities roll-out, upgrades, negotiation, and contracting.Job RequirementsFacilitate and drive alignment among stakeholders to converge on a product strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap to assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives according to a shared view of the product. This includes the development, tracking, and communication of product KPIs.Establish and maintain relationships with key clinical and business stakeholders. Review product performance relative to commitments and work with clinical and operational resource managers to resolve barriers and conflicts that affect product performance. Develop and maintain effective lines of communication and relationships with I&T leaders and appropriate BH leaders and staff, product sponsors, and champions to ensure effective and efficient product management. This includes but is not limited to setting up, chairing, and presenting at product, partner advisory, decision-making, oversight, steering, department, and other meetings. Provide and present organizational communication and education related to the areas of responsibility. Ensure communications are consistent and coordinated before, during, and after any change.Provide leadership and direction in analyzing, designing, and implementing workflow changes or new technology capabilities supporting new care and engagement services consistent with the product roadmap. Lead continuous improvement, project definition and execution, and change management across multi-disciplinary projects or work teams. Support assigned project manager or assume the role of project lead, to manage larger change projects. This includes meeting schedule creation and management, budget management, monitoring and facilitating project deliverables, risk assessment and mitigation, scope and change management, issue management, status reporting at all levels, project resource management, training plans and execution, communication planning, go-live management, turn-over (to operations teams) planning and management, value realization, and lessons learned review.Develop and advocate for product budgets. Manage within established budgets.Minimally Required EducationBachelor's Degree - Nursing, informatics, healthcare administration, computer science or related field.Preferred EducationMaster's DegreeMinimally Required Experience5 years or more of large organization product management experience. Also, both project management, change management, and process improvement experience are required.Ability to develop goals and KPIs, multi-year product roadmaps, and manage both continuous improvement and project efforts, to achieve measurable goals.Demonstrable experience engaging executives and other stakeholders to support important business decisions. Demonstrated vendor management, negotiation, communication, facilitation, efficient decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Experienced in both product and project planning & management, process improvement, and performance measurement of a product life cycle.Strong analytical skills.Successfully engage in multiple initiatives while simultaneously able to develop & manage products independently with minimum supervision.Ability to work collaboratively.
