A law firm in Reno, NV, seeks a Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is highly desirable. Superior writing and communication skills are necessary, and foreign language skills are highly valued.Duties
Conduct trademark searches and analyze results.Develop global trademark strategies for clients.Manage domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement.Handle TTAB proceedings and UDRP proceedings.Enforce trademarks on online and social media platforms.Draft and negotiate settlement agreements.Advise clients on trademark infringement matters.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trademark laws and regulations.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff.Requirements
2-5 years of experience in trademark law.Experience in trademark searching and analysis.Proficiency in global trademark strategy development.Experience with domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement.Familiarity with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings.Superior writing and communication skills.Foreign language skills (highly valued).Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the state bar.Certifications
Certification in intellectual property law (preferred).Skills
Strong analytical and research skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Attention to detail and accuracy.
