Trademark Associate Attorney

A law firm in Jackson is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is desirable. Superior writing and communication skills are a must, and foreign language proficiency is highly valued.Duties:Conduct trademark searches and analysesDevelop and implement global trademark strategiesHandle domestic and international trademark prosecutionEnforce trademark rights through legal actionsManage TTAB proceedings, online, and social media enforcementRepresent clients in UDRP proceedingsProvide legal advice and counsel on trademark mattersRequirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the State Bar2-5 years of experience in trademark lawExperience with trademark searching and prosecutionFamiliarity with TTAB proceedings and UDRP proceedingsExcellent writing and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentSkills:Proficiency in trademark searching and analysisStrong understanding of global trademark laws and regulationsExcellent legal research and writing skillsAbility to communicate effectively with clients and colleaguesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsProficiency in foreign languages (preferred)
