Reportingdirectly to Senior Director Engineering & Maintenance; the Manager,Manufacturing Engineering & Support (Level2), is responsiblefor leading the Level2 Engineering Team, people management, development & continuousimprovement of all automated lines, new project implementation, testing &validations, maintenance in meeting Mishawaka POC SCM's Mandate for the Urinalysis+ Novus, DCA and VTLi products, as well as assisting in allareas of the maintenance of hardware equipment and automations & transformationto achieve the highest level of Operational Excellence.

Plansand manages material resources, processes and automation projects in the ManufacturingEngineering team(s). Inthis capacity, this position is responsible forproviding 24/7 engineering support using a team of engineers, collaborate with process controls team,machinists, electricians, and Solutions Engineering Team for manufacturing ofconsumable medical devices in a highly automated and regulated medical devicemanufacturing environment whilemanaging multiple projects that cover existing manufacturing lines upgrades,new manufacturing lines design, continuous improvement, interactions withsuppliers and cross-functional collaborations within Engineering &Maintenance Team, Operations, Quality, Tech Ops, Material Management, R&D departmentand other POC SCM Sites.
• Leads ateam of Engineers for all Technical Projects and Level2 Support for allManufacturing lines.
• Establishand monitor key performance metrics, notably leading indicators for the Team.
• Plans andallocates resources and budgets for engineering and capital projects to sustainand support manufacturing lines.
• Developsprojects to increase the overall productivity of all manufacturing lines.
• Drivesthe development of technical standards and procedures for site engineering teamand level2 support.
• Providesengineering support for medical device manufacturing lines to troubleshoot orperform necessary repairs to maintain efficient operation of equipment.
• Reviews/Approvesdocuments for validation projects, engineering, process and material changeorders.
• Drives acontinuous improvement culture within the team to improve manufacturing processand equipment performance using the Healthineers Performance Systemsmethodology.
• Participatesin audit support and functions as a process owner during audits.
• Collaborateswith other teams in support of new product launches through process design,development, and transfer of new products to production.
• Reviewsassigned CAPA's and non-conformances pertaining to the manufacturing processand equipment.
• Compliancewith ISO, FDA, and all applicable medical device regulations related to medicaldevice manufacturing.
• Abilityto coordinate resources and provide engineering support for 24/7 manufacturingoperations.
• Mentorsand develops engineering team utilizing Siemens Healthineers People andLeadership Practices.
• ApplyHealthineers Performance Systems (HPS) best practices in agile management andstructured problem solving to enable the team to identify and remove barriers,aggressively leveraging broader resources where needed.
• Communicateproject plans and status to a wide stakeholder community -- up, across and downthrough the organization.
• Develop afoundational technical knowledge base of the MSH product/system manufacturingprocesses to ensure efficient and effective contribution and engagement withthe team.

- Experience with industrialcommunication protocols (PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, serial protocols) fordesigning, commissioning, and troubleshooting in highly dense industrialnetwork environments.
- Adept knowledge in IT environmentsand strong computer skills. You will be responsible to design, upgrade, monitorand maintain critical IT assets (Servers, virtual machines, network devices,HMIs, computers).
- Strong communication skills both written and oralnecessary to provide training to other process controls engineers, maintenanceengineers, skilled trades, production, and engineering staff in the setup, useand maintenance of manufacturing assembly systems.
- Self-starterand can work independently on projects as required.
- Successfuldemonstration of delivering results, technical expertise, problem solving,training, recruiting, influencing, initiative and quality decision-making.

- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in an industrialenvironment, preferably in medical devices
- Work experience in an ISO regulated industrialenvironment preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role
