Primary Purpose/Function:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be part of the Human Resource Department and oversee the full-cycle recruiting.
Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events.
This person will develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires, and create strong talent pipelines for our CASLV current and future hiring needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Actively participate with hiring principals to identify and attract top talent.• Research HR talent acquisition best practices, methods, and processes; proactively recommend process improvement policies to standardize, rationalize and simplify recruiting processes.• Oversee the recruitment process from posting job openings through the pre-onboarding phase• Perform job and task analysis to develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.• Lead and assist in developing creative talent acquisition strategies to identify active and passive candidates through various recruiting and staffing resources including databases, social media, etc.• Create and prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, colleges, etc.• Manage a pipeline of candidates for future openings.• Actively participate in the interview process by assessing candidates for core competencies, leadership qualities, and exploring career options.• Create, track, and monitor metrics, analyze data, and market trends.• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.• Develop new and enhance existing relationships with targeted universities and organizations in support of establishing a qualified diverse pipeline of talent.• Travel to other campus locations, job fairs, on-campus recruiting, and other community events.
Education and/or Experience:
High energy level and a sense of creativity to effectively match candidates with the company's needs, and to positively portray CASLV and its culture, values, and priorities.• A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.• 3+ year's previous human resource experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting.• A good understanding of sourcing and selection techniques.• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.• Strong social media technology background.• Proven ability to develop and manage strong relationships with a broad range of individuals at various levels of the organization.• Strong interview skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.• Able to work collaboratively and openly with cross-functional business leaders.• Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive information.• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.• Strong team-building skills and be a positive contributor in a team environment.• Available to work before and after standard office hours as work requires.• Ability to travel to attend career fairs/events, and conferences as necessary.
