Key Responsibilities
Review purchase requisitions and determine procurement methods.Identify suppliers, solicit bids, and evaluate proposals.Negotiate terms and pricing for goods and services.Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies.Track order status and expedite deliveries as needed.Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery.Maintain supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.Strong negotiation, communication, and data entry skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with procurement software or ERP systems.Knowledge of contract management, supply chain logistics, and inventory management.Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
