Key Responsibilities:Procurement:
Source and purchase materials to meet production requirements.Supplier Relations:
Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery.Cost Control:
Analyze market trends to ensure competitive pricing and implement cost-saving measures.Inventory Management:
Balance supply and demand, manage inventory levels, and forecast needs.Quality Assurance:
Ensure materials meet quality standards and address any issues with suppliers.Order Processing:
Track and manage orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.Reporting:
Maintain records of procurement activities and prepare relevant reports.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in food manufacturing.Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.Preferred Qualifications:Procurement certification (e.g., CPSM, CPPB) and ERP system experience.
