1Position Summary:This position is responsible for operational and financial oversight and management for over 80 ambulatory care clinics and over 1500 staff, expanding over the Orange County geography. This includes operational oversight of Chao Comprehensive Cancer Center and Chao Comprehensive Digestive Disease Center and affiliated ambulatory network. This role will be an operational leader and partner in advancing key strategic service lines, including oncology, orthopedics, neuroscience, cardiovascular care, and digestive health; as well as partnering to lead the direction, design and operations of innovative patient-centered care at UCI Health, including advancing telehealth expansion and other digital solutions. This role will be a key strategic partner in future ambulatory expansion plans.Salary Range:Annual RateMinimum:

$485,300.00Required Qualifications:Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the UC Irvine Health Affairs and work effectively with diverse stakeholders, especially physicians.Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong understanding of practice management systems, electronic medical records systems and financial management systems.Strong operations experience and ability to plan and execute performance improvement, patient experience/access and financial performance (HCAHPS, CG-CAHPS and MACRA).A management style which emphasizes teamwork, participation, communication and a high-touch service orientation.Proven track record of building a high performing ambulatory care area, specifically, but not limited to patient access (call center operations), quality and physician practice/clinic outcomes.Demonstrated track record of enhancing physician engagement within a system.Refined quantitative, financial and operational modeling skills and an ability to turn data into actionable information.Experience in developing and managing capital and operational budgets and ambulatory P&L responsibility.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an executive leadership role (Director or higher) in a complex, multi-site ambulatory setting.Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related Field.Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with a faculty practice plan/academic medical center.MD or clinical credentials preferred.Master’s degree in HealthCare Administration, Nursing or related field.Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.Conditions of Employment:The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community.
