Job Title: Member-Level Healthcare AttorneyJob Overview: A law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Member-Level Healthcare Attorney to join their national team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in regulatory law and a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic legal environment.Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel to healthcare providers on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse, licensing, reimbursement, and transactional matters.Draft and negotiate professional service agreements, joint venture agreements, business associate agreements, and other healthcare-related contracts.Serve on healthcare M&A deal teams, assisting with due diligence, regulatory review, and drafting transaction documents.Develop and implement corporate compliance programs and HIPAA compliance programs for healthcare providers.Must be a self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team.Ideal candidates will have a portable book of business.Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in the state of Maryland.Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on healthcare regulation.Demonstrated expertise in providing legal counsel to healthcare providers.Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex healthcare agreements.Experience with healthcare M&A transactions and due diligence processes.Strong understanding of corporate compliance and HIPAA regulations.Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Education and Certifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in the state of Maryland.Skills:
Legal research and analysis.Contract drafting and negotiation.Healthcare regulatory compliance.HIPAA compliance.Team collaboration and leadership.
