Weintraub Tobin is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to become a key member of the Firm’s Administrative Team who will report directly to the Managing Partner. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, project costing, legal, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private or institutional financing.This is a great opportunity to be a key part of the leadership team and have a direct impact on:Analysis of future acquisitionsPractice and partner profitabilityStrategic decisions relating to growth of the firmCash flow managementBenchmarking similar organizations on a statewide and national basisOther investment opportunitiesRESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership in and continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial decisionsEnsure the credibility of the Finance group by providing timely monthly reporting and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts of revenue and cash flowDirect and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organizationEvaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory issuesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with partners to identify their unique needs and seek a full range of business solutions to support themProvide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities being considered. Anticipate and help collect appropriate information to help make better business decisions.Manage and improve processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the companyProvide recommendations to strategically enhance overall financial performanceManage all outside service provider relationships and negotiate best rates annuallyEnsure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reportingQUALIFICATIONS

BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable10 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firmPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
