A law firm in Santa Monica, CA, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Equity Attorney with a minimum of 4-5 years of expertise in private equity and mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills, along with a proven track record of negotiating complex agreements. This role requires a dynamic professional with strong business judgment to lead in supporting private equity fund and portfolio company clients.Duties
Drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other transaction documents.Meeting day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients.Providing strategic guidance and acting as an extension of client business teams.Collaborating effectively in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.Requirements
Minimum 4-5 years of private equity and mergers and acquisitions experience.Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail, and organizational, verbal, and project management skills.Good business and strategic judgment.Education
JD from an accredited law school.Certifications
Admission to the California State Bar.Skills
Proven experience in private equity and M&A.Ability to handle complex negotiations and transactions.Prior large firm experience working with private equity sponsors.Outstanding academic credentials.Job Location
