A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a qualified Private Equity Attorney with 4-5 years of experience in private equity and mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills, along with a strong attention to detail. The role requires expertise in negotiating various transaction documents, playing a lead role in client interactions, and demonstrating good business judgment.Duties:
Drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents.Meeting day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients.Providing legal counsel and support to client business teams in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.Requirements:
4-5 years of private equity and mergers and acquisitions experience.Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail, and organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and project management skills.Good business and strategic judgment.Prior large firm experience working with private equity sponsors.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar.Certifications:
Certification in mergers and acquisitions or related field (preferred).Skills:
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating various legal documents.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
