Area Manager — The Pailin Group Professional Search ConsultantsJob Summary:We are recruiting for a highly capable Area Manager for our premier client's Houston, TX sales office. The primary function of this position is responsibility for the sales and operations of the office, including daily activities of sales office staff and distribution center.This opportunity offers the following excellent benefits:Medical, Dental and Vision401(k)Personal, Sick and Vacation DaysFlexible Spending AccountLife & Disability InsuranceEducation AssistanceEmployee DiscountsKey Job Responsibilities:Achieve sales, expense, and operating income budgetSupervision and direction of office and distribution center staffMotivation of personnel through positive reinforcement, team environment, communication of clear objectives, and performance reviewsConduct monthly Quality Control reviews and review with CSRsResponsible for Sales Office semi-annual business planDevelop and implement center budget semi-annuallyImplement corporate sales strategies with quantifiable objectives specific to the marketParticipate in community organizations to enhance the Organizations visibilityUnderstand competitive forces and develop strategies to overcome themMaintain sales coverage for vacant sales territoriesParticipate in monthly AM meetingMaintain accounts receivable at corporate objectiveWork ship not billed to achieve corporate objectiveMonitor and distribute work via Right Fax and Work Flow to ensure customer service level expectations are metEnsure timely and accurate resolution of assigned Onyx incidentsProcess timecards, deposits, etc.Responsible for regulatory compliance and sales office auditsInterview, select, ensure orientation and training, and when necessary discipline and/or discharge departmental personnelInventory preparationSafety/OSHA/facilities managementMiscellaneous projects as assigned by managerExperience/Qualifications/Education:Bachelor’s degreeThree plus years customer service supervisor/management experienceProven track record of achieving sales, expense, and operating income budgetsSales aptitude and problem resolutionExperience with financial planning and budget issuesFamiliar with managed care and third party programsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCapable of building effective sales teams within the sales location and achieving success in a fast-paced, changing industryCareer-minded individuals will find our business challenging and our reputation for excellence just one of the rewards we have to offer.
