A law firm in Cleveland is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with excellent research and writing skills, active Ohio law license, and strong oral advocacy abilities. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience practicing in state and federal courts, with proficiency in conducting discovery, depositions, expert witness management, and motion practice.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Investigate claims and gather evidence.Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.Take and defend depositions of witnesses.Manage expert witnesses and interact with them effectively.Represent clients in court hearings and proceedings.Handle all aspects of motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active Ohio law license.1-5 years of experience practicing in state and federal courts.Strong research and writing skills.Excellent oral advocacy abilities.Experience conducting discovery and depositions.Familiarity with managing expert witnesses.Proficiency in motion practice.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active Ohio law license.Skills:Excellent research and writing skills.Strong oral advocacy abilities.Proficiency in conducting discovery and depositions.Familiarity with expert witness management.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
