Seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to Practice in Southern West Virginia!
We are seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to practice in a hospital-employed setting in Southern West Virginia.Office space is available for the incoming physician, which includes a new echo machine that allows for remote study readings, a Gamma camera, and EKG services.The call schedule will be arranged accordingly.Reason for need: There are currently no Cardiology services being provided in the County. All Cardiology patients are being transferred to Charleston or Beckley. Additionally, the physician who currently reads stress tests and echos is closing his practice to work as an ED physician.There is significant potential for outpatient testing for stress tests and echos.The hospital has two courtesy staff Cardiologists who do not provide call or consults.We offer a competitive financial package that includes salary (based on MGMA median), relocation expenses, comprehensive benefits (including vacation, CME, 401k, and malpractice insurance), a potential signing/commencement bonus, and medical education debt assistance.
