Since their inception in 1947, their focused boutique approach has garnered a reputation for specialized expertise and efficient service in the labor and employment field.Why join us?Our law firm client has been repeatedly recognized by U.S. News and World Report and Best Lawyers in the “Best Law Firm” rankings, with a top Tier 1 ranking in the Baltimore Metro Area in the areas of Employment Law – Management, Labor Law – Management, and Litigation – Labor and Employment Law.Job DetailsResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in labor and employment disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour violations, and other labor-related issues.Provide legal advice to clients regarding all aspects of employment law, including hiring, termination, employee discipline, wage and hour laws, and workplace safety.Conduct thorough and detailed investigations into complaints of employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.Stay updated on current labor and employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and advise clients accordingly.Develop and implement preventative strategies to mitigate employment-related risks.Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to develop case strategies and ensure the best outcomes for our clients.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.A minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law.Must be licensed to practice law in the state.Proven experience in litigation, with a strong track record of successful outcomes.Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes favorably.Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.A high level of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards.Ability to manage multiple cases and projects efficiently, with excellent attention to detail.Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and experienced team of attorneys, where you will have the chance to make a real impact in the lives of our clients.
