UKG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with solid QA expertise to play a key role on the Talent Acquisition team! You will be focusing on customer experience and ensuring quality of developed software to help the company expand its solutions portfolio. You’ll be working in an agile environment partnering closely with the other software and quality engineers on your team, and with the product managers, analysts, and architects who bring requirements to the table.In support of our culture, we are adopting a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week can be remote. The UKG office that this position is located in is Weston, FL.Job Responsibilities
Conduct thorough review, triage issues and deliver the root – cause analysis in friendly language to customers for complex issues that stem from our TA productsDesign tests that puts continuous delivery at the forefront thinking about all aspects of testing; unit, integration, performance, and exploratoryCoordinate, design test strategy, and execute testing of a completely new functional implementation and/or release regression with emphasis on customer satisfactionExecuting acceptance criteria for complex technical functionalityHave a high bar for yourself and others when working with production systemsWork in a collaborative environment with a diverse group of internal and external customers and partnersExplore and share new testing patterns and methodologiesQualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or applicable development work experienceMore than 3 years of experience as a Software or Quality Engineer with coding skills in C#Experience working in a cloud environment (SaaS)Familiarity with source control systems (GIT)Understanding of design and coding with an emphasis on building test automation and toolsExperience testing REST-based APIsExperience with Selenium, QUnit /JS, NUnitAbility to write SQL/noSQL queriesKnowledge of test methodologies and test management toolsUnderstanding of Agile or Lean Software Development experience such as Kanban or ScrumAbility to successfully work within a team and manage a dynamic environment with rapidly changing prioritiesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
Experience working with customer escalations / issues from initial request through resolution and communications to customerExperience with Jasmine, NightwatchSubject Matter Expert in multiple function/domain areas of Talent AcquisitionEqual Opportunity Employer
