We are creating the go-to business insurance for high-growth companies by making insurance fast, responsive, and focused on our customers.Role Responsibilities:We are seeking creative, motivated, and innovative commercial P&C actuaries to expand our insurance products and be part of our growing actuarial organization. This role reports directly to the Head of Actuarial and plays an integral role in shaping our insurance strategy. You will be responsible for delivering innovative actuarial solutions, pricing models and rate plans, reserving analysis, capital modeling, competitor analysis, and data analytics.Job Duties:Develop, refine, and evaluate the effectiveness of proprietary pricing modelsPropose and implement necessary changes while contributing to the organization's profitability goalsIncorporate appropriate actuarial and data science techniques to tackle a wide array of compelling problemsSupport quarterly reserve analysis and reportingEffectively collaborate across all functions at Vouch including underwriting, claims, marketing, engineering, product development, sales, and successAssist the filing team in preparation of rate filings and responses to objectionsQualifications:5+ years of experience as an actuaryExperience as a commercial P&C pricing actuaryExperience building rate plans and/or developing new rating methodologiesAdept at bringing creative insurance product ideas to solve ambiguous problemsExceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on real-time interactionAbility to effectively manage multiple projects with the ability to prioritize high-impact workNice to Have:ACAS or FCASData analytics experienceReserving experienceCapital modeling experienceExposure to early-stage startups and/or high growth environmentsVouch provides a number of benefits to help you bring your best self to work:Competitive compensation and equity packagesHealth, dental, and vision insuranceParental leaveFlexible vacation time (Unlimited PTO)Wellness allowance ($80/month)Technology allowance ($100/month)Salary Range:
