We advocate for best pay, diversity in tech, and best job-fit for every candidate we place.And our client, a global investment firm, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team!Responsibilities:Understanding of Fixed Income, Derivative, Equity instruments and analytic systems is required for this role.Technical proficiency in a cross-technology production environment, including expertise in writing SQL commands, creating stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports. Able to navigate relational databases to resolve investment data issues.Some knowledge of Visual Studio .Net and programming with C#, ASP.Net.Track, execute, resolve, and report on support and enhancement requests promptly and thoroughly.Address periodic production support issues as they arise.Provide recommendations for efficiency-related opportunities and outcomes.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree is required.Strong understanding of investment data, Equity, Fixed income and Derivatives instruments and analytics is highly desirable.Strong SQL query skills and experience with SQL Server relational databases and tools.Experience with SSIS/SSRS.Experience with C#, ASP .Net, MVC and VBA is a plus.Familiarity with TFS or any other source code versioning system.Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a business audience.Team oriented and collaborative.Location: Los Angeles, CASeniority Level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Function: Information TechnologyIndustry: Financial ServicesSalary: $130,000 - $160,000
