Come build the first distributed utility with us, propelling the biggest energy transformation of our lifetime!The RoleAs a battery associate team member, you’ll be hands-on working to build Moxion’s battery storage systems safely with world-class quality. This is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and help solve big problems that really matter. Like save the world type stuff. Come electrify the future with us!What you’ll do:Work closely with the team leaders and supervisors to build/assemble Moxion’s class-leading mobile energy storage systemsWork closely with other team members by ensuring all tools and material are ready prior to shift startEnsure all production related concerns or issues are communicated effectively to team leader and line supervisionTrain new employees on their required tasksRecommend and implement initiatives that improve safety, quality or productivityCoordinate with management on work issues and enforce safety and housekeeping (5S) regulationsSkills to be successful:Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge in various manufacturing processes (mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, fabrication, welding, painting, and support functions)Proven ability to lead people and support changeRead and understand manufacturing instructionsAbility to work various shifts as well as overtime hoursAble to lift 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds in controlled environmentsAbility to maintain a safe working environmentAbility to perform repetitive duties while standing for long periods of timeAbility to follow standardized workAt Moxion you get:Health, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, competitive equity & compensation packages, free coffee and snacks, flexible work from home policy, access to Mountain Hardware, Columbia, Sorel, & Prana employee stores and discounts, credit to company swag store, investment in professional development courses, and parental leave program.We Value:People are at the core of Moxion’s values.
