Come build the first distributed utility with us, propelling the biggest energy transformation of our lifetime!The RoleAs Moxion’s first Senior Quality Manager, you will provide comprehensive quality management to Moxion’s battery manufacturing teams. You will be responsible for leading quality for all related products (module, sub assemblies, final assembly). The products you will help bring to market will transform and disrupt industries. Come electrify the future with us!What you'll do:Manage a team of managers, engineers and technicians to develop and sustain world class quality systemsWork closely with our Advanced Quality Engineering department to launch new products successfullyHire/Coach/Mentor a team of rockstars capable of working autonomouslyDevelop/maintain/improve critical KPIs that help monitor the quality of our products inline and end of lineSustain and improve corrective action process ensuring support from all functional area of the organization (i.e., Design, Factory, Engineering, Supplier Quality, etc.)Sustain all Moxion standards and be a champion of change/improvementLead all customer/investor certification/supplier quality audits as requiredWork closely with service to ensure all containment activities are effective and on-scheduleStandardize monthly analysis on quality issues by program (component failure)Track and manage all customer rejections and ensure conformance to Moxion’s processesWork closely with the factories to ensure all critical product characteristics are understood with training aids/plansWork closely with validation/prototype/design team during development builds to track and understand all critical requirementsLead the development of new processes as it relates to QualitySkills to be successful:4+ years of related experience in the automotive industry5+ years of related experience in Manufacturing QualityAdvanced knowledge of quality disciplines (ISO), lean manufacturing techniques, and process/procedure development and documentationAdvanced computer skills, including MS Office applicationsProven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, and employeesProven ability to prepare complex written reports and other documents.Practical experience in Program ManagementProven ability to lead complicated programs that require cross functional support and inputDesire/ability to drive improvementsAt Moxion you get:Health, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, competitive equity & compensation packages, free coffee and snacks, flexible work from home policy, access to Mountain Hardware, Columbia, Sorel, & Prana employee stores and discounts, credit to company swag store, investment in professional development courses, and parental leave program.We Value:People are at the core of Moxion’s values.
