As an Engineering Manager on the CLM Collaboration Team, you will support and build new features for a suite of collaboration and negotiation tools in Docusign CLM and Intelligent Agreement Management products. You will lead a team of full stack engineers and own aspects of delivery of the new features. You will coordinate with the other engineering managers and the teams to get employees engaged in development of the product stack. You will also work with various key stakeholders of software development for assembling a product roadmap to support the company’s vision. The engineering manager will act as a people manager, hiring manager, technical leader and delivery manager for the teams you will be in closest cooperation with. You will also coordinate and work with other departments within or outside their organization to ensure project completion and the use of best practices.This position is a people manager role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Engineering.ResponsibilitiesExecute with our product roadmap using agile practicesBuild and maintain a set of highly scalable, performant and high availability servicesWork with partner teams to build solutions that meet the needs of many teamsWork with the Product Management team to gather requirements and architect the next set of servicesImprove performance and reliability of existing servicesBe data driven and push for making decisions based on telemetryHelp mentor and grow the teamJob Designation
Hybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. Basic5+ years of combined software development and management experience across multiple languages and frameworks or equivalent experience5+ years of hands on software development or equivalent experience3+ years of managing software organizations over 6 people or equivalent experienceExperience managing full stack engineering teamsPreferredDemonstrated track record leading geographically dispersed teamsExperience in language, framework and toolset agnostic, having worked in at least 3 languages or paradigmsExperience leading mid to large sized full stack teamsExperience with cloud platformsExperience with advanced web applications and TDD on the client sideExperience with large complex data ecosystems and data quality and lifecycle issuesA demonstrated track record of being a change agent, leaving every team and process better than you found itKnowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systemsExperience with CSS, AJAX, JSON, HTML, or MVCExperience with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.)A track record of finding and developing great talentExperience with full stack SaaS developmentExperience launching V1 productsWage Transparency
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $151,800 - $245,150 base salaryWashington and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800 - $214,350 base salaryThis role is also eligible for bonus, equity and
