We also have physical offices in San Francisco, CA and Austin, TX, for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.About Your RoleReporting into the Chief Solutions Officer, the Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.What You’ll DoEstablish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the organization's operations divisionCollaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systemsPartner with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectivesIdentify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materialsEnsure departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and visionEstablish, communicate, and implement operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and executionReview and approve cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projectsEstablish and administer the operation department's budgetPresents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other senior leadershipMaintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations and systems managementIdentify training needs and ensure proper training is developed and providedPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications15+ years experience in senior operational leadership roles, ideally in Fintech, Software or ServicesPhenomenal leader with demonstrated success building and scaling teams in a high growth, fast paced, remote first environmentExpert at process design and software implementation and maintenance at scaleExperience with Salesforce, Jira, Zendesk, Looker, Power BI and CPQAbility to articulate your vision as a leader while demonstrating a strong ability to think strategically and act tactically while driving influence across the organizationExcellent presentation and communication skills, must be able to clearly articulate goals and status updates on company wide initiativesA leader who is analytical and a true data-driven problem solverPrevious experience with contracts, procurement, and billingPrevious experience managing relationships with executives and business partnersWorking knowledge of Microsoft and Google IT stacksPrevious experience with SOC types 1 and 2 and SOX complianceBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related fieldAt Juniper Square, we believe building a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture makes us a better company. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $250,000 - $300,000.
