The Consumer Credit Product organization is responsible for building PayPal’s buy now, pay later (BNPL) payment and Revolving Credit solutions that give PayPal customers flexible options to pay for their purchases. The candidate must possess the ability to understand business requirements and processes. They will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have superb communication skills and be able to present complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. What does it take to succeed in this role? Able to think about business opportunities, operations, and architectural diagrams during stakeholder discussions. Significant engagement with partner tech teams and proven ability to get critical features above the line on other product roadmaps. Excited to learn from others while bringing your own capabilities and perspectives.Primary Job Responsibilities:Product Management: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle and work directly with engineering teams in an agile environment to deliver new capabilities to PayPal’s Revolving Credit products – everything from discovery, integration, testing, go-live, and post-live experiences. Responsible for managing backlogs and roadmaps, writing stories, and other typical agile processes.Customer Insights: Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions. Engage in problem-solving with analytics to determine trends and root causes. Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making.Manage ambiguity: Understand complex business problems across business units, geographies, and product lines to create hypotheses and translate this into analysis requirements and identify meaningful insights that help PayPal improve our customer experience.Stakeholder Management: Work cross-functionally with engineering, user research, user experience design, content, analytics, program management, sales, marketing, and customer success teams. Present product vision and create consensus both internally and with key external partner teams.Job Requirements:4+ years’ experience as a Product Manager with end-to-end product delivery.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or other equivalent degrees.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager/owner mentality.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in working with development teams in scrum and agile methodologies.Have a passion to leverage technology to deliver innovative financial products, services, and solutions.Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make product decisions.We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates.
