As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be trusted to perform a key role in driving the success of programs. You will be providing financial data to GDIT and client stakeholders, performing complex tasks in various financial functions with an emphasis in budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.In This Role, Assignments Will Include:Lead the process and development of the program's operating expenses across various functions for budgets, forecasts, and long-range operating plansMonthly revenue analysis; analyze and interpret meaningful trends, identifying risks and opportunitiesWork with business leaders to provide insights and potential action plans through analysis for real-time data decision makingPrepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and presentations, driving clear and consistent understanding of program performanceResponsible for the administration and continued development of the budgeting, reporting, and forecasting toolsDevelop and maintain detailed financial models to support program and organization awareness and decision makingHelp identify and develop continuous improvement into business processes and reporting through automation, new tools, or systemizationDevelop and leverage strong collaborations to understand the cause and effect of business decisions and drive strong communication and coordination with cross-functional business partnersREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor degree in Finance or related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience (4+ years of additional experience in lieu of a degree)5+ years related finance or accounting experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with various contract types (T&M, Firm Fixed Price) preferred but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical skills with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently, set priorities and handle multiple tasks with a high level of efficiency and accuracy with the flexibility to quickly adjust to changing prioritiesWHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:Full-flex work week401K with company matchChallenging work that makes a real impact on the world around youScheduled Weekly Hours:
