Welcome to the Financials & Planning Machine Learning Team! We are responsible for delivering intelligent and impactful products to our customers, underpinning Workday’s fastest growing line of business. Our work is a blend of product innovation, groundbreaking machine learning methodology, and large-scale data processing. Built on a backbone of startup DNA, we operate with a high degree of autonomy and strong sense of ownership, and as a part of this team you'll conceive and build machine learning systems that shape the future of work.About the Role
We are open to hiring at the Director or Sr Manager level depending on background and abilities.Strategic Leadership:
Define and drive the Financials Machine Learning product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with the overall company goals.Product Development:
Lead a team to deliver innovative and scalable machine learning solutions.Market and Customer Insight:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the machine learning and artificial intelligence space.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with executive leadership, engineering, data science, design, and other cross-functional teams.Product Roadmap and Prioritization:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic priorities.Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with internal and external collaborators, including customers, to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure customer-centric product development.Product Evangelism:
Serve as a leader with vision and spokesperson for Workday's machine learning products.Team Leadership:
Build and mentor an impactful team of product managers and data scientists.About You
Basic Qualifications (Director Level)
7+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence.Basic Qualifications (Sr Manager Level)
5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence.Other Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
Solid understanding of machine learning techniques, algorithms, and frameworks.Leadership Skills:
Shown experience leading and developing successful teams.Strong Eye For Business and Customer Focus.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills:
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Degree:
in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or an equivalent field.Workday Pay Transparency Statement - United States
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
