If this sounds like you then please read on!WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOEnsure comfortable atmosphere in room (lighting, temperature, music volume, cleanliness-line of sight)Ensure that standards are being met regarding staff uniforms, quality of service/food, timeliness of food, guest relationsConduct daily pre-shift in an upbeat and motivational mannerProvide clear and specific communications to the staffEnsure that service is up to HOB standardsAssist Manager on Duty in programming “specials” into micros systemAssist in perceiving and troubleshooting potential problemsAssist in scheduling staff, voids/closing comps, liquor pulls, cutting staffing levelsGreet all guests promptly and courteously in a professional mannerResponsible for bank and adherence to company cash handling policyAssist in filling “change” requests from bartenders and serversMaintain company safety and sanitation standardsAssist other employees and departments as neededLog nightly sales and operational issues in Manager Log Book, either manually or onlineMonitor the labor cost of the shift, paying close attention to overtimeCheck accuracy of labor system at the end of the shiftWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGRequired:Ability to work late hours3 years supervisory experience in high volume restaurant/music hall environmentWorking knowledge of restaurant operationsEntry level knowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws, retail operations, computers (Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)Skill in leadership, guest relations, decision making and staff schedule maintenanceAbility to engage in positive interaction with staff and guests, prioritize, organize, motivate staff, problem solve, delegate, follow-up, communicate, diffuse possibly volatile situations with tactHigh School diplomaPreferred:Point of Sales knowledge, preferably MICROSSome college or college degreePhysical Demands/Working Environment:Working environment is fast-paced, loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
