SUMMARY
An Inside Sales Associate I processes orders and quotations via fax, email or telephone, handling the overall coordination and execution of customer service for the manufacturers we represent. Other tasks of the inside sales team include educating clients and upselling products and services, and handling cancellations or changes while informing the personnel or departments involved.
Job Functions
Excellent Customer ServiceAnswer incoming calls with proper phone etiquettePromptly respond to all emails, voicemails and phone callsPromptly and accurately process customers’ orders, quotes or returnsProvide follow-up on quotes and orders throughout the sales processObtain and communicate accurate informationProvide pricing, availability and delivery informationSet up new customer accountsHandle and resolve customer complaints while escalating to appropriate managers when necessary
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Basic understanding of product lines representedKnowledge of customer service principles and practices, preferably with experience in an office environmentAbility to work both independently and in a teamwork environmentExperience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel
Qualifications
General Education degree preferred or 1 year sales or industry experience
