System administration of Dremio including user/group management, using RBAC to enforce vendor contracts, maintaining views using SQL code, ensuring consistency between Dev and Prod environments.Security master troubleshooting and escalation to resolve discrepancies with Data Management Team and external vendors.Retrieve data from multiple sources, combine it using internal security master.Communicate with, respond to, and deliver results to internal stakeholders who are users of raw data; connect stakeholders to the data they desire.Define validation rules for individual data items to ensure data quality.Maintain a knowledge base / Wiki of documentation and other informational resources to share with engineering and business stakeholders, including data definitions.Own monitoring of data processing and communication with internal and external stakeholders or vendors about any delays in data delivery and availability.Ensure all activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.Support efforts to drive user adoption of system enhancements.Additional responsibilities as requested.Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related subject matter required.2-5 years of experience in technical support or systems administration required; financial services industry experience preferred.SQL query writing experience required.Basic Python or R programming skills are a plus.Strong problem resolution skills.Strong time management and prioritization skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to collaborate across multiple functions.Attention to detail and quality.Knowledge of core technology industry trends and best practices.Strong written and verbal communication skills.William Blair is an equal opportunity employer.
