This role will have a trading p&l budget and be expected to produce profit. This position includes both individual and team responsibilities. Financial Trading
Point of view trading strategies and execution to contribute to trading profitDevelopment of short-term trading fundamentals in coordination with long-term Fundamental groupApply market knowledge and insight to make informed risk management decisions for trading bookPortfolio Optimization Support
Corporate hedge strategy, planning, and execution participationAsset desk fuel, NGE, extrinsic value optimizationWholesale market liquidity enhancement to support organizationThought leadership aiding asset/load books timing, structuring, and positioningWholesale Market Expertise
Abreast of wholesale market information about flows of capital, risk, and positions in commodity spaceOverall point of view creation based on wholesale market dynamics informing various internal teams including management, planning, compliance, risk, and portfolio managementWorks with Luminant and TXU Energy to optimize results pertaining to the commodity spaceEducation, Experience, & Skill Requirements
10+ years relevant experienceMinimum of 5 years experience trading, analysis or structuring in energy spaceHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skillsKey Metrics
Ability to manage multiple projects, change priorities as needed, and achieve results through othersFinancial structuring skills a must; understanding how to evaluate embedded real options in a portfolio of energy assetsExcellent leadership, business, financial, problem solving and communication skills requiredJob Family
