Job Description
Title: C-level, VP, or Director of Revenue, Sales, or Business...Contoro Robotics, founded in 2022 and based in Austin, TX, is addressing human labor challenges with an AI-powered industrial robotic arm. Our proprietary human-in-the-loop technology overcomes the limits of AI and accelerates the development and adoption of the technology. We have raised over $8.5M and are a team of 15 people. Our first market is the logistics industry, and more specifically, we are solving the container/truck unloading problems. As we completed the first pilot, we're seeking a business leader to propel our company forward, focusing on revenue, sales, finance, and strategic growth.Expected Role
In the next decade – a few Robotics companies will grow to trillion-dollar valuations – your job is to define the revenue, strategy, and capital formation to get us there. Then, lead execution across business functions to achieve our goal.Responsibilities
Cultivate business relationships with potential customers.Gain a deep understanding of customer demands.Design and propose revenue models that align with both customer and Contoro needs.Lead and finalize negotiations to close deals.Develop sales and marketing strategies, considering the company's products, financials, and market position.Collaborate with the technical and product teams to shape the roadmap.Partner with the CEO in meeting new and existing investors.Present business status/updates and strategic plans to investors.Qualifications
Professional experience in top-tier tech, logistics companies, or successful startups.Strong network within the logistics industry.Deep understanding of customer needs in the logistics sector.Proven experience in a Chief Revenue/Sales/Business Officer role or similar.Successful track record in revenue growth, particularly in logistics tech or logistics.Experienced in developing and executing business strategies.Significant general management and P&L experience.Ability to work in Austin, with remote work flexibility for the initial 3 months.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fundraising, including indirect involvement.Company information: Austin, TX based start-up centered around robot solutions with a desire to make a worldwide impact through advanced robot methodology be it telemanipulation, haptic feedback and state of the art human interfaces.Manufacturing, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Automation.
