http://www.cpuc.ca.govJob Description And DutiesThe Electricity Planning & Policy Branch within the Public Advocates Office is seeking a Public Utilities Regulatory Analyst V to join its Procurement Cost Recovery team. Under the general direction of the Program & Project Supervisor, the Public Utilities Regulatory Analyst V's primary assignments involve regulatory oversight to ensure compliance in the energy resource recovery account process; forecast and trigger filings; and cost recovery and allocation methodologies. The PURA V leads the review and analysis of the most complex, varied and sensitive studies, projects, and/or programs.The PURA V independently conducts a variety of multi-disciplinary, complex, technical, and analytical policy research and financial reviews, applying original approaches, methodologies, and frameworks; produces testimony in formal evidentiary hearings on technical and potentially controversial matters; leads or assists in negotiations to resolve issues in dispute during the settlement process; writes protests to advice letters and other filings; makes recommendations and presents ideas, research, and analysis orally and in writing, on a broad range of varied and complex public utility regulatory issues; and represents the organization at intra-agency conferences, workshops, and other public meetings.Special RequirementsPrepare and submit a response for each question below.
