What You Will Do
Guidehouse is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will lead analytic and data visualizations in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for large-scale programs within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading design and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and/or QlikIdentifying and creating additional data visualization capabilities, as neededAnalyzing current processes and identifying potential improvementsEnsuring data governance and quality assurance standards are metDeveloping training materialsWorking with team members to summarize and report on business process improvements to include gaps in current processes and initiatives to improve processes for an organizationOrganizing and leading client meetings, including scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking, and following-up on action itemsSummarizing and presenting information and reports to the team and making recommendations (both oral and written).What You Will Need
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to receive a DHS Public TrustBachelor's DegreeEIGHT (8) or more years of data analytics experienceWhat Would Be Nice To Have
Law enforcement experienceExperience leading teams focused on developing analytic solutionsStrong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detailExperience developing new, automating, and/or re-designing existing processes to meet new and/or evolving business requirementsAbility to provide guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasksExperience analyzing and defining system requirementsAbility to facilitate meetings and present topics to diverse groups of functional and technical staffAbility to work independently with minimal directionAbility to anticipate and respond to management and client needsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within an organizationWhat We Offer
