Job Description:Pacific Life is investing in bright, agile and diverse talent to contribute to our mission of innovating our business and creating a superior customer experience. We’re actively seeking a talented Business Strategy Analyst II to join our Product Delivery and Support team in Newport Beach. This role can be on-site, hybrid, or 100% remote.

How you’ll help move us forward:Support new product development through maintenance and creation of test tools for new product feature programming and illustration upgrades.Verify implementation of new products, product enhancements and illustration upgrades through illustration systems testing.Create test tools for Technology implementation of new products and product enhancements.Support and maintain tools for support of Operations (New Business and Inforce Contract Services).Support Marketing materials calculation development.Prepare addition of new funds historical values to the mainframe for web performance and illustration support.Support automation of user acceptance testing.Maintain and create documentation on data processes and controls.

The experience you bring:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.Advanced Excel knowledge and capability.Strong knowledge of financial mathematics and time value of money.Strong attention to detail and sense of ownership of responsibilities assigned.Good analytical skills and sound judgement to research and resolve issues.Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

What makes you stand out:Experience working with annuity products.Courses in or knowledge of actuarial mathematics.Experience with big data.

Base Pay Range:The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.$80,730.00 - $98,670.00
