Under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Recruiting Associate is responsible for successfully assisting with all facets of recruiting throughout the organization and community. This will be achieved through employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, while also collaborating on new innovative techniques for sourcing talent. This position plays a critical role in ensuring we hire and retain the best possible talent, and acts as a representative of HR to the entire organization and outside community.DIMENSIONSEmployees Served: 500 + employeesRecruitment: Daily recruitment functions and annual reporting/community eventsAdministration: Thorough knowledge & practical application of all employment lawSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Recruiting Associate reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager. No employees currently report to this position.NATURE & SCOPEResponsible for assisting with the entire recruiting cycle.Responsible for building a strong workforce whose talents are aligned with business goals.Liaison with outside employment sources including temporary agencies and service vendors.Recommends ways to further automate the human resources function and to provide meaningful management statistics and reports.Maintains information systems for the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information. Researches system and data integrity issues. Acts as Subject Matter Expert as it relates to the ADP Talent Module and ATS.Participates in the New Employee Orientation Training Program and facilitates successful onboarding.Completes special projects as assigned and assists the Talent Acquisition Manager with achieving department and strategic goals.Exercises discretion in administering their responsibilities to minimize liability to the credit union based on human resources practices. Supports the growth of the credit union in a manner that is aligned with the credit union’s mission, vision and values.Participates in career fairs, hiring events, assists with running internship programs.Ensures all open positions are posted and maintained across various job boards and hiring sites.Acts as temporary coverage in absence of the Talent Acquisition Manager.Shares responsibility for managing and overseeing recruiting budget and allocation.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION, SKILLS, & ABILITIESA two year college degree is required.A minimum of 2 years work experience in Human Resources, or 4 (or more) years’ experience in a comparable Administrative/Customer Service role (preferably within the Financial Industry).Must possess effective communication skills and be comfortable making phone calls/emails related to pre-employment screenings, job offers, vendors, etc.Must be adept at understanding where and how to locate candidates using both traditional and non-traditional resources.Working knowledge of State and Federal employment and labor laws.Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.Knowledgeable in integrated systems, i.e. Recruitment, On-Boarding, HRIS, ATS, etc.Knowledge of

desirable.Possess working knowledge of Windows 7 and 2013 Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and Outlook).Strong working experience and knowledge in implementing, trouble-shooting, and managing HRIS systems, preferably using ADP.Ability to exercise discretion within the scope of Human Resources and HRIS practices and operations.Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow policies and procedures and accept constructive criticism.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIESPartner with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needsScreen resumes/Update status accordingly in ATSPerform in-person and phone interviews/screenings with candidatesPerform reference and background checksPrepare SAF’s and make salary recommendations to hiring managersCoordinate/schedule interviews with the hiring managersFollow up on the interview process status and send appropriate communication to candidatesMaintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achievedCommunicate employer information and benefits during screening processStay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practicesServe as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associationsAssist with completing timely reports on employment activityPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSExcellent ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing; ability to tolerate periods of continuous sitting; Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONSWork is primarily performed within a cubicle office setting. Subject to standard background noise found in an office environment.SALARY RANGE$66,560.00 (min) - $93,147.18 (max)/year
