Works via phone and email generating new business and growing newly acquired and retained business in their assigned area with parent groups, school administrators and charitable organizations. Responsible for re-signing, maintaining, quoting, providing product updates, reporting, data entry, customer support for new and existing accounts. Utilizing research tools and marketing automation platforms, obtain new business and achieve weekly and annual goals by managing assigned territory. Executes campaigns to organize and communicate with priority targets for business development and retention.Summary Of Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop relationships in an assigned region, to promote, market, and sell category-focused products and kits driving opportunities with new and existing customers.Research and understand competitive intelligence and market trends with our customers.Work directly with customers to assess, describe solutions, define products and create quotes.Responsible for responding to customer inquiries, in a timely manner and following up on all sales leads.Provide solutions of SchoolKidz products & services to broader School Specialty selling organization.Work directly with regional sales coordinator to provide customers with the necessary information and tools to run an effective program including knowledge of products and program.Driving sales working new and retained accounts and coordinating programs for new schools.Build individual school revenue by communicating information to customers such as providing social media content, follow-ups during sale, and supporting customers with appropriate marketing materials to promote sale.Thoroughly document and update account activity utilizing our customer database.Work with other team members to create new program ideas and marketing strategies.Minimum Required QualificationsTwo-year degree in business-related field preferred; years of relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.2+ years of sales experience, preferably inside sales experience.*For internal candidates: minimum of 18 months of SchoolKidz experience.Basic Microsoft Suite Skills (Word, Excel & Outlook).Applicant must live in the United States Central Time Zone.Preferred Knowledge and SkillsCRM Experience preferred.High-level of customer service acumen.Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills maintaining attention to detail.Possess a high level of professionalism, ethics, confidence and a commitment to a team approach.Engaging and goal-oriented personality able to work independently.Strong professional, verbal communication skills, and proven business writing skills for heavy client correspondence.Must be able to adapt the selling approach to parent organization volunteers and charitable organization representatives, while also possessing persuasive ability and the business acumen to interact with school administrators.Proven ability to meet deadlines and exceed sales quota.Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Ability to overcome objections and effectively deal with customer rejection.DisclaimersThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
