Job Title: System Administrator (FT / PT)

Overview

American Heritage School is seeking a full-time or part-time System Administrator to support and enhance the technology infrastructure and provide exceptional technical support at the Salt Lake City Campus. The ideal candidate will be committed to working in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with values taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This individual should be professional, optimistic, and organized, dedicated to providing proactive and patient technical support. A full- or part-time position is available, depending on the skills of the applicant and what other roles the applicant may be qualified to fill.

Position Details

Hours : Full-time or part-time, depending on qualifications

Pay : Commensurate with experience

Start Date : Position available immediately

Primary Responsibilities

Technical Support : Provide prompt and effective technical support to students and faculty, resolving hardware and software issues on both WindowsOS and MacOS platforms.

System Administration : Manage and maintain servers, workstations, and software.

User Training : Conduct training sessions for faculty and staff.

Collaboration : Coordinate with the school's EdTech Director and third-party vendors to implement policies, protocols, and training that promote the security, efficiency, and modernization of the school's technology infrastructure.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of work performed on support requests and resolutions utilizing the existing ticketing platform. Maintain inventory of the technology infrastructure through the IT Glue documentation platform. Document internal processes and procedures for recurring tasks.

Qualifications

Education : Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, significant closely related coursework, or demonstrated competency.

Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint; expertise in both Windows and MacOS.

Experience : Prior experience in technical support or system administration is preferred.

Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Attributes : Self-starter mentality, strong problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
