Felton offers a dynamic, challenging, and supportive work environment where we encourage the use of professional development that staff can utilize throughout their career.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and execute payroll processes for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, particularly with experience using ADP and Paycom systems. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential for this role, as you will be responsible for data analysis, reporting, and ensuring accuracy in payroll calculations.Specific ResponsibilitiesPrepare bi-monthly payroll input of payroll transactions such as salary adjustments, payroll taxes, payroll deductions, garnishments, new hires, and all other payroll-related tasks.Process monthly payroll for about 100 volunteers.Maintain compensation records and related files for each employee.Process timesheets for payments and accuracy of data.Record amount of payroll deductions including retirement, health plan premiums, advances, and other authorized deductions.Record and audit accrued annual leave, sick leave, and personal business leave on compensation records.Maintain files of all payroll printouts, PANs, timesheets, and program disks.Export quarterly payroll tax returns to State DE4 and Form 941 Federal tax return.Any other assignments as assigned.Minimum Requirements/QualificationsBA from an accredited university with an emphasis in Business or Accounting preferred.Excellent spreadsheet, database, and word-processing skills, SAGE 100 accounting.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Experience with ADP and Paycom.Other accounting and analytical skills a plus.Additional Information:Reports to: Payroll ManagerJob Type: Full-TimeWork Schedule: OnsiteFelton Institute is an Equal Opportunity EmployerFLSA Status: ExemptSalary Range: $75,000-$80,000 Annually (DOE)Benefits (subject to election and eligibility): Fully-Paid Medical and Dental Plans; Health Reimbursement Card; Paid Time Off (personal, vacation, and sick time); 403B with company match.Applying Instructions:Candidates should apply for the position at our career page “careers.felton.org” OR directly email resumes to “jobs@felton.org.”Important Note:
