Role Purpose: To monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all LAN/WAN Network hardware, software, and communication infrastructure to provide maximum performance and availability for system users, and to analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. Duties & Responsibilities: Administration and managing daily network security operations and projects. Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery). Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards ensuring a reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes. Install hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices including routers, Wi-Fi controllers, and firewalls. Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances. Research products, recommend software and hardware, and point out security glitches. Ensure that all IT equipment complies with industry standards. Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems as needed swiftly and efficiently. Analyze and resolve faults, ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password. Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions. Qualifications/Requirements: 8-10 years of expert level experience in core LAN/WAN/DC/Campus networking design and implementation. Hands-on experience in SDN and SDA technology. Hybrid cloud connectivity and Express Route implementation. Expertise on networking products (switches/routers) of major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Arista, HP, Brocade). Hands-on experience with security products (e.g., WSA, WAF, Firewall, IPS/IDS, NAC) of major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Bluecoat, Palo Alto, Juniper). Experience with network diagnostic, protocol analyzer tools, debugging tools, and monitoring/analysis tools. In-depth working knowledge pertaining to wireless network infrastructure from Cisco, HP. Expert level experience in networking and security solution technologies. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks. Familiarity with ITSM (ITIL, Service Now). Well-versed with the latest advancements in the respective domain. Dynamic and fast learner. Ability to work independently. In-depth understanding of:
