Position: Assistant Project ManagerLocation: San Francisco (office) and PeninsulaIdeal Start Date: ASAPCompensation: $50/hr - $70/hr+ DOE (Hourly wage at applicable regular and OT hours)About the Role:You'll support project administration and management in high-end residential construction. You'll create and track punch lists, document project progress, and assist with subcontractor management on maintenance projects ($5k-500k) and residential projects ($30m+). This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while collaborating with top architects in the Bay Area.Daily Life:You'll work closely with senior leadership, utilizing Procore to ensure efficient project execution and maintain organized project files. Expect to spend about 30% of your time traveling to projects and 70% in the office, with projects split between the city and peninsula. You'll be responsible for documenting project scope, updating contracts, and assisting in organizing and scheduling trade subcontractors.Key Responsibilities:Create and track punch lists in ProcoreUpload photos and maintain project documentationMonitor insurance needs and update contractsConduct site walks and document project scopeAssist in organizing and scheduling trade subcontractorsSupport project administration for senior leadershipIdeal Candidate:Recent graduate of a construction management/architecture program (within the last 5 years)1-5 years of commercial or residential construction experienceProficient in Procore, MS Project, and ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProcess-minded and detail-orientedCollaborative and adaptable to changing circumstancesReliable and time-consciousBenefits:Annual bonus based on company and individual performanceCompany contribution to 401k plan up to 10% of W221 days PTOGas cardMobile devices and usage fees (cell and tablet)LaptopHealthcare stipend included in hourly wageAbout the Company:Their established construction firm specializes in high-end residential projects.
