The Admissions Counselor is responsible for the identification and recruitment of qualified, new undergraduate students to the University. The incumbent will conduct market analysis, employ data analysis to help move prospective students through the recruitment lifecycle, recommend and implement recruitment strategies, and establish relationships with prospective students, families, school counselors, and community members involved in the college search and selection process. The counselor will serve as the Admissions liaison to targeted school counselor associations and related community organizations. The counselor will use a Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool and other software to manage his/her territory, track and conduct follow up with inquiries, applicants and admitted students, develop communications in all mediums, including telephone, email, written correspondence, and social media, and host presentations. The incumbent will orchestrate all travel to ensure maximum coverage of state, regional, and national college fairs in selected markets. The counselor will also assist with and participate in University hosted recruitment events.Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree is required. Master's preferred.Experience:

One year of related work experience is required. Previous experience as an Admissions Counselor is preferred.Licensure & Certifications:

Valid state driver's license is required.Job Duties:
