Job Overview:

The Business Development Representative is a critical role within our client's organization, focused on driving new business opportunities and contributing to revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and generating new leads for the company's software solutions, which serve regulated and high-compliance industries. This role is essential for expanding the company's market presence and establishing strategic relationships with prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emails, and social media outreach, to generate new leads and business opportunities.Identify and engage key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations, developing strategic relationships to understand their business needs and challenges.Qualify and assess leads to ensure alignment with the company's target market and solution offerings.Communicate the company's value proposition and key differentiators effectively to prospective clients.Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns aimed at driving revenue growth.Engage in consultative selling by actively listening to prospects' requirements and recommending appropriate software solutions.Utilize CRM software to manage and track sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline efficiently.Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and professional development activities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth.Requirements include:

Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.Experience:Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the software industry.Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software solutions is a plus.Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients.Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Certifications:No specific certifications required, but relevant sales or business development certifications are a plus.Knowledge:A solid understanding of the sales process, particularly in a B2B environment.Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software solutions is an advantage.Key Competencies:Goal-oriented with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results.Self-motivated and resilient with the ability to handle rejection and persevere in a competitive sales environment.Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.Additional Information:Work Environment:
