WHO WE ARESolid like the houses it builds, Habitat works with integrity, creativity, and a clear and powerful belief that “Everyone in the Greater Los Angeles County deserves a decent place to live.” Since 1990, we have built, rehabilitated, or repaired over 1,450 houses in neighborhoods across the Greater Los Angeles area. Housing is a basic human need, and Habitat for Humanity strives to achieve its goal of eliminating substandard housing by making decent, sustainable, and affordable housing a reality for all. Habitat LA is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), an ecumenical Christian organization that excels at attracting people of any or no faith to work together to build homes, community, and hope. In addition to building new houses, we also partner with families in need of a new roof, a wheelchair ramp, or other vital repairs. We work to revitalize communities and help those affected by local disasters. Globally, our tithe supports Habitat’s work in other countries including building shelters, disaster response, microfinancing, and more.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles is seeking someone to develop new partnerships and maintain existing ones across entertainment, sports, music, and social media.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Outreach and communication with key entertainment industry partners to meet annual team goals. Work closely with the Head of EIP to build, maintain, and identify new partnerships in entertainment, music, sports, and with influencers. Spend up to 50% of your time traveling both internationally and locally.Help the Head of EIP with strategies to reach the GEIP department’s fundraising goals by securing new or renewed funds for Habitat LA and HFHI. Support efforts to grow the pool of Habitat Humanitarians and boost Entertainment/Hollywood donors by 10% each year.Manage content used across all channels for EIP relationships. Collaborate with Marketing, PR, and Communications teams on social media postings. Ensure we are up to date with industry partners, trends, and the department’s contact lists.Support Habitat affiliates by creating a Celebrity Engagement blueprint and guideline tool. Assisting and managing partnerships with the Head of EIP at special HFHI and Habitat LA events on and off-site, locally, nationally, and globally.Collaborating with all HFH LA departments and working with HFHI affiliates to help with the implementation of all programs, data management, tracking results, and promoting and securing celebrity ReStore donations.

SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Leadership presence to work with industry executives, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop and implement effective partnership strategies.Proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution, with a demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflicts.Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced global business environment.Must have access to reliable internet connection.Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA driver’s license and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, a criminal background check, and a credit check.

COMPENSATION:The base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
