This position will be responsible for managing functions related to preclinical grade mRNA production and workflow scheduling within the company. This position requires a high level of competence, strong leadership, and commitment to this role.Location:

Redmond, WAReports to: Head of Product Development and Manufacturing, Life Science GroupResponsibilities:Work closely with department managers to develop and maintain production and QC schedules to deliver orders on time and efficiently with quality.Lead the team to develop and optimize the production workflow and upgrade the process to improve the delivery capabilities and customers’ satisfaction.Proactively identify and resolve common root causes of issues and address those to improve the overall quality of production stability.Provide operational leadership to the production team, including training, coaching, and team members’ leadership development.Ensure accurate maintenance, reporting and forecasting of assigned production-related budgetary status, results, and statements on a monthly basis.Interact and communicate with prospective customers on opportunities or with current customers on the status of the project in production.Support cross-functional team communications to develop mRNA production platform capability.Maintain proper training and performance documentation.Qualifications:S. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, or related biomedical field with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical company, biotech, or related industries.Excellent experience and knowledge with HPLC purification and equipment operation and maintenance.3+ years of managerial experience in the biotechnology production sector is required.Demonstrated initiative and pursuit of successful collaborative projects with interdisciplinary teams.Excellent time management skills with commitment to ensure completion of tasks.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Self-motivated and passionate. Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment.
