Family Law Attorney

A law firm located in Sherman Oaks, CA, is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 3-7 years of experience, excellent writing skills, and admission to the California Bar. The position offers benefits including a 401(k) retirement plan, health and dental plan contributions, subsidized gym membership, and disability coverage.Duties:Represent clients in various family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and domestic violence cases.Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations.Requirements:3-7 years of experience practicing family law.Admission to the California State Bar.Excellent writing and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Familiarity with California family law statutes and procedures.Education & Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in family law matters including divorce, child custody, and support.Excellent writing and drafting skills.Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.Empathy and understanding when dealing with clients in sensitive family law matters.
