ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt
Client Development Director, Public Sector . What You Will Be Doing: As a Client Development Director, you will be responsible for promoting sales and client relationships for Right of Way federally funded projects. This role requires experience in developing client relationships, securing multiple contracts, and a strong business development background with proven Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills. You will also develop a written business plan for the Division.What We Are Looking For:Creativity and ability to implement new ideas and strategies.Leadership and mentoring skills.Efficiency and effectiveness under tight deadlines, with the ability to balance multiple projects.Outstanding communication skills; verbal, written, interpersonal, and listening.Analytical, problem-solving, and strong negotiation skills.Persuasive and compelling demeanor.Professional demeanor and ability to interact with all levels, in and outside of the organization.
Minimum Requirements:Minimum of five years of experience in the Right of Way, civil engineering, and/or construction industry.Minimum of two years of experience in sales or business development establishing long-term client relationships.Experience in a business-to-business sales environment.Experience collaborating in the proposal and marketing process, including pricing strategies and staffing plans.Working knowledge of CRM databases and ability to report on sales metrics.Experience crafting and executing strategic market plans to convert large revenue projects to wins.Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC's systems.Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements:English language proficient.Ability to communicate and exchange information clearly in person, via phone, and email.Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing.Ability to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen.Occasionally required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment, and interact with other staff members.Occasionally required to travel to government buildings, involving time driving, sometimes for long durations.
