Job DescriptionAssociate Brand & DTC Manager – Lingua FrancaPosition SummaryReporting to, and in conjunction with the Brand Manager, the Associate Brand & DTC Manager has a General Management approach and broad range of responsibilities that will assist in delivering specified business targets (volume, profit, share) through the development and execution of all brand strategies and plans across Price, Promotion, Packaging & Product. These include brand plan development and execution, business budgeting and financial administrative support, cross-functional team leadership, innovation strategy and supporting project management and retail/on premise point-of-sale development and execution. Additionally, the Associate Brand Manager works to deliver significant profitable growth across DTC channels by partnering across the organization to develop provocative and profitable DTC offerings and effective cross channel marketing programs to promote them. This person will have excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders throughout the organization. This person will be highly motivated to create a compelling consumer experience that also meets the Lingua Franca’s financial objectives. This person should feel at home working on site, interfacing with consumers, club members, sales teams, and other business partners, balancing interpersonal interaction, creative ideation, and operational execution. This person will be consumer and member obsessed and be passionate about delivering the best experience possible for our members.

Role & Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive sales and profits of the Wine Club, Direct (email) and Digital channelsWork with brand and sales teams to ensure long-term strategic growth in US wholesale and international channelsSupports development and implementation of the annual brand strategy and marketing plan to create consumer demand based on strong business analytics.Retain and increase lifetime value of existing club members through engagement, consistent follow-up, and outstanding customer service.Work with Hospitality, Brand Marketing, and DTC Creative teams to create member specific e-mails, member events, marketing materials, and exclusive packages that drive revenue, acquisition, and retention.Use data insights, experience, and feedback to develop strategic Club offerings that drive increased Membership.Provide Concierge services and deliver exceptional customer service to retain customers, drive additional sales, and loyalty.Manages execution of Wine Club shipments and other recurring shipments.Continuously strategizes and develop best in class Club Member benefits and offerings.Assists in the development and implementation of short- and long-term marketing objectives and strategies. Participates in the development and leads the execution of brand plans and tactics to deliver against agreed upon brand and business goals.Assists in the development of consumer target and positioning of brand and in the development of the brand architecture, in partnership with the Brand Manager and Consumer Insights.Supports development and execution of insights based strategic innovation plans to position the business for both short and long-term success, including project management of key innovation initiatives from ideation to successful launch.Assists in the creative development process and execution of all creative assets for use across channels.Assists Brand Manager in working with international teams to insure consistency of brand strategy and execution globally.Leads day-to-day brand budget management, PO creation and invoice processes. Ensures that dollars are allocated and spent in an efficient and effective manner within budgetary parameters.Assists Brand Manager in working with the Retail & Field Marketing teams to develop all national and local consumer promotion programming at retail in both on and off premise channels.Assists Brand Manager in the identification and development of all event marketing programming, including all national sponsorship events, charitable donations, trade related functions, etc.Participates in market visits and assists in Business Unit planning and review meetings, providing actionable insights and brand/portfolio innovation and programming ideas based on key learnings.

Minimum QualificationsStrong analytical skills with a demonstrated aptitude to utilize trend analysis, syndicated and customized research and other sources to turn data and information into actionable insights.Strong financial acumen and P&L understanding.Strong writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills; demonstrates ability to communicate and sell the strategies and plans at all levels of the organization.Experience managing complex project list, priorities and budgets and track record of project management with a focus on driving for results.Ability to influence & persuade to gain alignment from othersExcellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and strong project management skills.Proficient PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience working in a CRM database

Preferred Qualifications1-2 years of brand management/brand marketing experience, preferably in the CPG or Beverage Alcohol industries.Bachelor’s Degree in related field; or relevant experience working with luxury brandsStrong Wine Knowledge, CMS or WSET certificationsPassion for the wine & spirits industry, and luxury branding.

Physical Requirements/OtherAble to lift 40lbs on a regular basisWork in a normal office environment. Sit at a workstation for up to 2-hour intervals. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Must be flexible in work style and schedule: travel up to 30%, the wine industry is a hospitality-oriented industry, so availability to work weekends and evenings on occasion as required.Must live within commutable distance to the winery in Salem, Oregon. This position will include a mix of on-site work, remote work and some travel.Must have valid U.S. passport.

The salary range for this role is:$84,900.00 - $130,000.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
